A price increase… and a bit about me and my massage training

During any therapy with me, my intention is always to give you the most enjoyable experience, with the best outcome specifically for you.

Since my original training in Swedish massage, aromatherapy and reflexology … I have added to and enhanced my knowledge, by taking my Clinical Diploma in Aromatherapy, training in Jikiden reiki and further training in reflexology.

However, my most advanced training so far, has been with Jing Advanced Massage Training. This is where I completed my Clinical Massage training, and also myofascial techniques, pregnancy massage and Hot Stone Fusion Massage.

As a Jing Method™ advanced clinical massage therapist. I am qualified to treat a range of chronic musculoskeletal pain issues and systemic conditions including low back pain, neck pain, headaches whiplash, sciatica, frozen shoulder, RSI, fibromyalgia, plantar fasciitis and many other ongoing injury or pain conditions.

The Jing Method™ blends the best of advanced bodywork techniques from both East and West, including a range of safe and effective soft tissue and massage techniques that include fascial work, trigger point therapy, acupressure, stretching and tailored self-care.

My most recent training with Jing was in hot stones, which I am very excited about. Not only can I use the stones as a complete full body massage experience… to help massage away life’s stresses and induce a state of deep, blissful relaxation. I will also be incorporating the hot stones into some of my massage treatments harnessing the heat to help reduce pain and to work on muscle tension at the deepest level.

I use a warm and heart centred approach that takes full account of all your physical and emotional needs and am committed to working alongside you to get the results you need. So during a massage with me, I truly hope you feel the benefit of my knowledge and training, and really notice a difference with pain reduction and in your general emotional and physical well-being.

Despite my additional training, I haven’t increased my prices for massage since I first opened at The Fairground, as I have always wanted my therapies to be affordable and accessible for everyone. However, I have reached a point where I have had to think long and hard about this, due to the additional time and expense I have put into furthering my education (and will continue to improve my knowledge). Also, as costs have increased significantly for all of us, both at home and in business, I need to think of approaches to meet these cost of living increases.

I have decided to stagger this price increase, so from January 2023 I will be raising the cost of my hours massage and all blended hour treatments to £50. A 30 minute massage will be £35 and a 45 minute massage will be £45.

Looking ahead for the future, I do have to consider the increase in the cost of living, and also an impending rent increase at The Fairground, so there will be a further increase in all treatments with myself and Sandi in April 2023.

Sandi’s massage price will remain at £45 for now, but will increase in April due to inflation and rising costs.

I value each and every one of you that has ever visited me for a treatment and I thank you so much for your continued support and understanding.

With my very warmest wishes

Ps. Sometimes my clients can explain what I do better than I can, so here’s just a few things they have said….
